This six drug formulation shows synergistic mycobactericidal activity coming along with reduction in oxidative stress, leading to reduction in lung cell damages. The present invention further demonstrates mycobactericidal activity of antioxidants such as d-alpha tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate.
